Studio SIAT SFU Virtual Ambassador Trailer (2025)

Type of project: Animated trailer

Client: Simon Fraser University School of Interactive Arts & Technology

Role: Background/Layout artist

Synopsis: Background artist for Sawmill Studios & Studio SIAT's grant-funded animated project regarding VTubers (Virtual Ambassadors). The first of its kind in the world. Worked in a team of 14 people under a one director and one producer. Drew backgrounds set in both a fantasy world and Vancouver for a promotional video showing off the backstory of the virtual characters.

A Canadian's Guide to Making Manga (2025)

Type of project: Graphic novel

Role: Writer, illustrator

Synopsis: A 100-page introspective art house indie manga about a girl who must confront herself. Sole artist, writer, and project manager involved with creating, funding, and publishing the project with the aim of selling it at art festivals.

A Haunted House Story (2025)

Type of project: Anthology Comic

Role: Writer, illustrator

Synopsis: A 16-page short story written for P is for Phear, an anthology by Reckoning Books & Comics. The work focusses on a uniquely Asian immigrant take on the archetypical Haunted House story, and features a style of unconventionally worded, first-person stream of consciousness prose as its primary storytelling device.

Anirevo Map (2023)

Type of project: Art contest

Contest Proprietor: Anime Revolution

Role: Illustrator

Synopsis: Designed a promotional illustration in 2023 used by Anirevo, the biggest anime convention in western Canada. The illustration was featured on the convention map and was a finalist in the 2023 Anirevo Art Competition, beating out nearly a hundred other entries. Illustration created using model sheets provided by Anirevo and made to fulfil several specific preset prompts to capture the spirit of the convention.

Bizarre lego (2023)

Type of project: Book cover Illustration

Client: Joseph Meluso (Author)

Role: Illustrator

Synopsis: Cover illustrator for the upcoming book Bizarre Lego by Joseph Meluso. Took over the project after Meluso's previous illustrator had to leave. Adapted previous illustrator's thumbnails (including the creation of additional colour thumbnails) into a cover that suited the client's needs.

Client: Mitanoha (Independent VTuber)

Role: Illustrator

Synopsis: Did character redesign of independent Vtuber Mitanoha. Created a full character sheet ready for modelling and rigging as well as creating elaborate art assets like promotional images and spot illustrations to be ready for a full rebranding.

Synopsis: A series of illustrations depicting the real spirit ofVancouver in a colourful and vibrant style. Turned into keychains and other products and sold as prints at art markets.
